Oak Blossom Farms was founded in 2017 by my wife and I, inspired by a shared commitment to healthier living and sustainable farming. We've been happily married for 17 years and are proud parents to three amazing daughters, who have become both our enthusiastic farmhands and our most honest critics.
Our journey began with a simple desire: to provide our family with a healthier, more natural alternative to the meat available in stores. Disheartened by the quality and sourcing of conventional options, we purchased three feeder pigs as our first step into small-scale production. Over the following months, we dedicated ourselves to their care and well-being, forming a genuine bond with each one. When the time came to take them to the butcher, it was a bittersweet moment for our family—rooted in respect and gratitude.
Two weeks later, we received our first batch of pork. The freshness and quality of the meat left a lasting impression. That morning, we enjoyed bacon and sausage that were not only wholesome but bursting with flavor. That evening, we shared tender, delicious pork chops as a family. It was in that moment we knew this experience was worth sharing.
